FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

I don't have a set amount of images I give you, I go through all of the images and use my personal judgement to select the best to edit and deliver. Usually 50-150 can be typical on a family session.

What time of day is best for photos?

I prefer to shoot during golden hour, that happens about an hour before sunset. If that doesn't fit with your schedule I am very flexible and have had sessions at all times of the day.

What resolution are photos delivered in?

Your photographs are delivered in the highest resolutions available after processing and cropping, which means that most images are delivered at high resolution. Your photos will be delivered at a resolution that is more than enough for typical print projects. I recommend printing at a professional lab for best quality, mpix is a great choice!

How should we dress for our family session?

Be you! I always recomend wearing something you feel comfortable and confident in. You want your outfits to all blend together without being too "matchy, matchy". When in doubt nuetrals, avoid conflicting patterns, and let your personality shine! You can always send me pictures for my opinion!

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Of course, no need to worry about that. Most people feel a bit anxious around the camera, and that’s completely normal. We’re not used to having a professional camera pointing at us all the time.
I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve that will help you and your family loosen up, feel relaxed and completely forget about the camera. You’ll be you, and I’ll be capturing your lovely family time.
